Description

The RB 451 vacuum reservoir is designed to collect excess resin during the vacuum assisted resin transfer moulding process (VARTM). The RB 451 has 1 vacuum inlet and 3 resin inlets in order to be able to perform several infusions at the same time. Each resin inlet is equipped with a safety valve. The unit comes equipped with a vacuum regulator/ gauge for reduced vacuum and leak detection applications. By disconnecting the vacuum source, one can view the gage for signs of decreasing vacuum, ie., leaks.
Additionally, each unit includes:
> a polypropylene bucket to collect the resin without damaging the tank inside.
> a plug AQD 500TF 1/4'' female NPT to be mounted on the tank vacuum source.
> 3 barbed fittings of each of the following sizes: 3/8''ID, 1/2''ID and 5/8''ID to be mounted on the 3 tank resin inlets.
