Apply a thin layer by spraying, using a squeegee or a clean lint free cloth. Allow to stand at room temperature for 2 hours then repeat process if required. Lightly sand if required after cure.
Cure:
Room temperature: 12-16 hours, at 150°F (66°C): 2 hours
Post cure:
Post cure at the intended use temperature for one hour to a maximum temperature of 360°F (182°C) and apply mold release.
Application instructions for restoring tool face or vacuum integrity to composite or metal molds:
• Prepare tool surface to be coated by sandblasting or manually abrading with heavy grit sandpaper.
• Solvent wipe to remove all contaminates and completely dry.
• Vacuum bag the complete face side of the tool and draw partial vacuum. 5 inHg and 10 inHg
(0.17 and 0.34 bar).
• Apply a thin layer to the back side of the tool by spraying, squeegee or brush.
• Allow the cure at room temperature overnight or accelerate tack by curing at 150°F (66°C) for 2 hours.
• Post cure tool to 360°F (182°C) for 2 hours.
• Check tool for vacuum integrity. Apply additional coats if required.
• Light sanding may be required when Print-Seal is applied to the tool face for resurfacing.
• Please
note that part A resins and part B hardeners are sold individually by
US measurement container size
shown above and are grouped for proper mix
ratio. Volume per container will vary depending on product
weight shown
above. Metric conversions shown for container size above are for
