Wrightcast 8500 PS tape is a heat stabilized nylon film coated with a high temperature rubber based adhesive. It is a multi-purpose tape with high elongation and is ideal for complex mold shapes. The superior high temperature properties of nylon make this tape suitable for holding down processing materials during extended high temperature cure cycles.
• High temperature nylon retains strength after longer cures and can be removed easily.
• Rubber adhesive tape can be used where silicone adhesives are prohibited to reduce contamination risk.
• Good elongation makes application to complex shapes easier, reducing time and improving quality.
