Description

Vac-Brake is a combination vacuum manifold and resin brake for the periphery of resin infusion moldings. Vac-Brake features a spiral tube sewn into a technical textile. Positioned around the edge of the part it distributes even vacuum and provides a resin brake preventing resin waste and choking of the vacuum manifold.

Vac-Brake R will self-release from cured laminates. Vac-Brake C is a more economical version without self-release.

Notes

• The maximum use temperature is dependent upon the duration at maximum temperature and is process
specific, Airtech recommends testing prior to use.
• For best results remove Vac-Brake R while the laminate is still "green" or within 24 hours.
